12" single planned for release in 1992 on Southern Records (18504-1)

ATTENTION COLLECTORS: I have an extra copy of this that I am willing to trade for a select few items, namely: the Big Black live cassette, the Rema Rema 7" test pressing, or possibly other BB test pressings. Email me for more information.
Planned for release in 1992, but scrapped? 72 white label test pressings by Southern UK are out there, however.
Now for the interesting questions... Did Touch and Go (US) do any tests? Did Touch and Go have anything to do with this? Why would a single get so far into production (i.e. overseas licensees making test pressings), only to be scrapped? Seems strange...
The record comes in a plain white sleeve with a (dot matrix printed) label that states:
| artist | : BIG BLACK |
| title | : Kerosene |
| label | : Southern Records |
| cat no | : 18504-1 |
| format | : 12 inch single |
| SOUTHERN STUDIOS LTD | 10 Mydleton Road |
| LONDON N22 4NS | +4481 888 8949 |
and a single page "NEW RELEASE INFORMATION" sheet that basically says the same thing.
