Tracks from the releases Touch and Go/Quarterstick were doing in late 1992 on the A side, tracks from the labels T&G was distributing on the B side.. Basically the A side is the Jesus Lizard, several bands that wish they were the Jesus Lizard, Big Black and Negative Approach. The sound on Cables is really weedy for some reason.

The B side is full of lame industrial and noise shit, with the exception of Superchunk, who are lame poppish punk.
